The Problem

A specialist brand trapped in a generic label.

  • The 'Generic' Trap: Despite specialized products like the quick-drying, animal-free Tocoa bucket hat or recycled-polyester Monty beanie, LLMs categorized Chillouts simply as a 'general hat brand.'

  • Missing Use-Case Queries: AI shoppers search via high-intent prompts like 'best vegan beanies for winter' or 'crushable sun hats for backpacking' — Chillouts was entirely missing from these recommendations.

  • Technical Gap: The Shopify store lacked the semantic depth required for AI agents to read specific material benefits (shape-retaining, recycled content, UPF rating) without human interpretation.

The Insight

Find the gaps. Own the niche.

Instead of fighting massive outdoor brands for the broad keyword ‘winter hat,’ we used Vizby to find the gaps in AI knowledge. AI models desperately look for concrete product specs to answer specific user constraints.

By focusing the AI on Chillouts’ “Crushable/Packable” travel features and “100% Vegan/Recycled” materials, we could dominate those specific, high-converting lifestyle queries.
